This pair of cards were handset and letterpress printed using metal type by yours truly. The font is 24 pt Argent which was designed by the Cleveland Type Foundry in 1883.
“If you’re reading this…” was designed in honor of pride month. It would make an excellent gift to any queer friend, family member or sweetheart as a reminder that they are, in fact, gay. Trust me, it will make them smile.
”If we could not touch” is based off a quote from the T.V. show Pushing Daisies. I view it as essentially the thesis statement of the series, that real love does not end when life gets complicated. It may be particularly touching to people in long distance relationships or otherwise separated by circumstance.
Each card comes with a pale gold envelope and is signed and numbered by the artist.
